With great sadness we note the death of Professor Wally Broecker, the  Newberry Professor of Columbia University and the Father of Climate Science. Among his many scientific achievements was the discovery of the ocean’s conveyer and much of the basis of climate science we are using today. Were were honoured to work with him on the CarbFix Project and will try to carry his legacy forwards through research in the mitigation and control of climate change.
