Sampling and Filtering. Again. Apparently, there was a question asking why we filter the water – so here is the answer: Filtering to remove the suspended particles, so we can analyse the dissolved fraction, and the suspended fraction separately. The former tells us about chemical weathering and CO2 removal, and the latter about physical erosion (glacial grinding).
